For those working in the sustainability and renewable energy fields, attendance at FutureBuild 2014 was a must! This brand new UK conference, in partnership with REGREEN, came to Sheffield City Hall, UK, on the 5th and 6th November 2014 and focused on sustainability of housing, renewable energy and community energy schemes.

From top politicians to sustainable energy industry specialists and business entrepreneurs, a range of sessions and networking opportunities to do with sustainable housing, renewable energy and community energy schemes showed that FutureBuild 2014 had something for everyone. There was an interesting policy debate involving key politicians, European representatives, industry specialists and journalists.

FutureBuild 2014 culminated in a spectacular Gala Dinner in the prestigious Cutlers Hall in Sheffield on Thursday 6th November at which Lord Digby Jones, the trouble-shooter himself, gave a keynote speech.
